JOB DESCRIPTION SALES REPRESENTATIVE
1. Summary
As A Sales Representative and Business Developer, you will work closely with customers, sales team and management to grow and promote the sales and business of Pegasus Transit, Inc.
Goal is to increase Pegasus Transit, Inc. profitability by generating new prospects.
Sales Team and Management is the first line of contact with all new outside Customers/Businesses.
2. Responsibilities
• Close and grow sales through professional communication with potential clients/business.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements –speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and
meet their needs
• Communicate sales or business opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions
• Understand and comply with established guidelines that ensure a safe and respectful work
environment
• Coordinates company staff to provide exemplary service to customers
• Expand market awareness of our services and our industry experience by communicating features
and benefits of our services effectively.
• Work with sales team to ensure customer project requirements are met
• Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans, payment performance;
communicate any client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments
as needed
• Working knowledge of rates and price calculations
• Researches market requirements and market data
• Maintain knowledge of competitor services and identify and report intelligence on competitor
pricing or marketing strategies
• Demonstrate and explain best practices of services for all Pegasus Transits Inc.
• Submit a variety of sales status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and
adherence to goals
• Submit quarterly customer visit plans; schedule client meetings and action plans for follow-up
• Is responsible for setting the customer’s expectations
3. Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and/or three to five years of proven sales or marketing experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication(verbal and written) skills
• Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment

Sales will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, understanding customer needs and requirements, and translating them into an order.
Job functions/Responsibilities:
· Prepare quotes, invoices, itineraries using BusHive and Quickbooks
· Clean, clear, courteous, and efficient customer communication
· Building customer relations
· Coordinate with Operations Team and Drivers
· Outside Sales-visit potential clients and follow-up
· Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
· Go the extra mile to engage customers.
· Collaborate with the customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being provided.
· Routing qualified opportunities for the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
· Generates AR reports and follows through for payment.
· Generate Sales Forecast reports.
· Receives and processes check deposit payments.
Requirements:
· Strong customer service skills necessary
· Strong phone presence and experience
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Strong computer/tech skills – Knowledge of AI, BusHive, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office - CRM
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
· Work fast-paced environment.
